Our motto at Ysgol Nefyn is: “Angor gadarn cyn hwylio’r don” (A firm anchor before setting sail)

We provide opportunities for the children to develop from a personal and educational point of view, providing each child with an anchor of care and well-being before they set sail.

Our aim here at Ysgol Nefyn is:

  • To create independent, enterprising and creative pupils.
  • To create a happy and welcoming school that ensures healthy and confident pupils.
  • To develop pupils who are honest, fair, respectful and diligent – qualities that will be key to guiding them through their voyage in life.
  • To ensure the highest quality of education possible for all children according to their age, ability and interests so that they grow into rounded personalities, develop and exercise all talents and apply themselves as responsible members of a bilingual society.

THE GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF YSGOL NEFYN
